Preservation Training at Williamsburg High School for Architecture and Design

As part of a long term commitment to preservation training in the United States, World Monuments Fund is an industry partner to Williamsburg High School for Architecture and Design (WHSAD), supporting the school’s efforts to prepare students for internships, jobs, and other learning experiences in the field of historic preservation. Through the Preservation in Practice series, field schools, and summer internships, WMF helps supplement the classroom experience with a range of activities that provide students with hands-on training and site-based learning. Other partners in these activities include historic house museums, Green-Wood Cemetery, architecture and engineering firms, Park Avenue Armory, and many other organizations, including a 100-year old stone-work company. .World Monuments Fund
